1. What you can report

You may use this process to report material in the OpenTribes app or website that you reasonably believe:

• infringes your copyright or trademark;
• uses your name, likeness, photograph, recording, or personal information without authorization;
• impersonates you or an organization you represent; or
• otherwise violates a right you are authorized to enforce.

2. Submit a notice

Email opentribes.app@gmail.com with “OpenTribes Rights Complaint” in the subject line. Include:

• your full name, email address, and relationship to the rights holder;
• a description of the protected work, mark, image, identity, or information at issue;
• the OpenTribes username, content type, URL, screenshot, listing title, message details, or other information sufficient for us to locate the material;
• an explanation of why the use is unauthorized or unlawful;
• a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for the rights holder; and
• your electronic or physical signature, which may be your typed full legal name.

Do not send passwords, government identification, or unrelated personal information. We may ask for limited additional information if necessary to evaluate the complaint.

3. What happens next

We assess notices based on the information available and the urgency and nature of the alleged harm. We may preserve evidence, restrict visibility, remove material, contact the person who posted it, request more information, or take account action. We do not promise a specific response or removal time.

Where appropriate, we may share the notice or relevant details with the person who posted the material so they can understand and respond to the complaint. We limit unnecessary disclosure and handle personal information according to our Privacy Policy.

4. Responses and restoration requests

If your content was restricted or removed and you believe that action was a mistake, email the same address with “Takedown Response” in the subject line. Identify the material, explain why you are authorized to use it, and provide supporting information. We may restore content where appropriate but are not required to host content that violates our Terms, creates legal risk, or is unsafe.

5. Misuse of this process

Do not knowingly submit false, misleading, abusive, or fraudulent notices. We may reject incomplete or unsupported requests and may restrict accounts that repeatedly misuse reporting systems. Nothing on this page is legal advice or limits rights and remedies available under applicable law.
